Their repair shop is the best. I had a classic Minolta SLR film camera whose diaphragm kept sticking open. It was a gift from my father so very sentimental as well as being the one I learned photography with as a kid. I took it to two places in Los Angeles to fix and they cleaned it but did not solve the problem. I phoned Vermont Camera and asked if they could fix it -- they assured me they could. In a few weeks my camera was back to me, working like it did when brand new -- in 1979.
Liz and Jim were great! Jim was able to repair a lens that I thought was a goner. He also replaced the shutter blades in my Canon 6D for a very reasonable price. Awesome shop of you love old film gear. I'll be back for future services!
